Quick Course Summary:
This 2 day course covers all the critical aspects required to attain an IMI Award in Refrigerant Handling, a key legislative requirement for anyone wishing to handle common automotive refrigerants, and, just as important, it provides a deep dive into the system’s operation and essential diagnostic techniques. From understanding the science of refrigerant state change to analysing the evaporator’s performance, you’ll have it covered. Over the two days, you’ll learn as much diagnostic-related detail as possible, with plenty of on-vehicle testing to back it up. You’ll leave with the confidence to take on any AC-related fault.
The Qualification:
- Upon successful completion of the course, you will achieve an IMI Level 3 Award in Automotive Refrigerant Handling (EC842-2006) (VRQ) (500/6771/0).
